How it works
Auditions are designed as an educational, supportive, and friendly step, far from the image of a rigid exam.
Format and atmosphere: the audition lasts 1 hour, taking the form of continuous, fluid, and relaxed social dancing, much like a regular class or a social.
Partner rotation: students change partners regularly to test their adaptability and be observed dancing with different types of dancers.
Collective evaluation: several teachers assess the performance; the average score provides an initial indication.
Discussion and context: after the session, a discussion among the teachers helps nuance the score, taking into account factors like stress or the student’s dedication throughout the year.
Feedback: a personalized review (strengths and areas for improvement) is provided, typically via the student portal.
